2010 Fees
Registration for the 2010 season is now closed.
Costs for almost all recreational activities in Calgary have been steadily increasing but CalSouth is pleased to announce that the fees for 2010 will remain unchanged from last season and have not increased since 2007.
Be aware that $90 will be added to each registration for fundraising. CalSouth will be supplying players with 30 chocolate bars valued at $3 each. All proceeds from selling the bars will be retained by the player or their parents, so they can sell as many or as few bars as they wish. Full details about this fundraising effort are available by clicking HERE. For families registering more than two children, the fundraising fee will be limited to two boxes of chocolate bars at $90 each. The full fee will still be paid at registration time, but when the chocolate bars are being distributed, the third and subsequent child will receive a fundraising refund from CalSouth instead of a box of chocolate bars. If further details are required, please contact Rebecca Kirkwood, the CalSouth Fundraising Coordinator.
Following are the regular registration fees for the 2010 Little League season (including the fundraising requirement which can be recovered by selling the chocolate bars that will be provided):
T-Ball: $ 90.00 + $90.00 = $180.00 Coach Pitch: $130.00 + $90.00 = $220.00 Minors: $170.00 + $90.00 = $260.00 Majors: $200.00 + $90.00 = $290.00 Juniors: $210.00 + $90.00 = $300.00 Seniors: $210.00 + $90.00 = $300.00 Big League: $210.00 + $90.00 = $300.00
For any registrations received after March 31 2010, late registration charges will be applied. For T-Ball, the late registration fee will be an additional $20 per player. For all other divisions, the late registration fee will be $50 per player.
CalSouth will be offering a discount for families registering two or more children in 2010 using our online system. For any family with two or more children, if you use the Online Registration system to register your children, your total registration fees will be reduced by $20 per player for the second and subsequent registrations in the same family.
Also, KidSport provides grants for families that may require financial assistance to register their child(ren) in sports such as CalSouth Little League. Please visit their web site at http://www.kidsportcanada.ca if you need any further details.
Players in all divisions except T-Ball will be required to submit a $100 fully-refundable uniform deposit cheque to their coaches prior to receiving their team jersey. As long as the uniform is returned at the end of the season, the uniform deposit cheque will not be cashed.
Refer to the "Divisions" page on this web site for details regarding age groups for the various divisions.
REFUND POLICY
Following is the Calgary South Little League Refund Policy, as of September 21 2009. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this policy, please contact the CalSouth Registration Coordinator.
If the player is withdrawn from the league prior to the first game of the season, then a full refund of the registration fee will be provided.
After the player has played in one or more games, then no refund will be provided, even in the unfortunate event of an injury.
