2010 Registration

For 2010, CalSouth will be offering Online and In-Person Registration.

Online Registration is NOW available. It is the fastest and easiest way to register for CalSouth Little League. Please review the details below and then follow the link at the bottom of this page.

(In-Person Registration was held on January 30th.  All remaining registrations for 2010 must be through our Online Registration System.)

Volunteers are required to help out with the evaluation sessions to ensure they run smoothly. If you are able to donate a few hours of your time to help out with this effort, please be sure to indicate this on your registration form.


Divisions for league age as of April 30th 2010:
4 - 6 years - T-Ball
7 - 8 years - Coach Pitch
9 - 10 years - Minors
11 - 12 years - Majors
13 - 14 years - Juniors
15 - 16 years - Seniors
17 - 18 years - Big League

The final rosters for Cal South Little League are submitted to Little League Canada and these rosters are subject to additional scrutiny, particularly as players reach ages where they may be chosen to play in All-Star programs. By misrepresenting the ages in the younger divisions, players may be disqualified from future competitive programs when/if the age discrepancies are revealed.  Please ensure that the registration details, including date of birth, are completed correctly.  Calgary South Little League will be collecting copies of each player’s birth certificate to reconcile with the final roster copy that is sent to Little League Canada.
 

Parents wishing to have players play up (re: in divisions for older players) should be aware of the following:

** T-Ball to Coach Pitch: Please state your request to move up in your registration.  The T-Ball and Coach Pitch Coordinators will contact you towards the end of April to let you know if the player will be moving up.  Things the Coordinators consider include but are not limited to: number of years in T-Ball and recommendations from previous coaches. 

** Coach Pitch to Minors: The player must attend evaluations at NSD on April 10 and 17th.  The player must evaluate in the top 25% to be moved up.

** Minors to Majors: The player must attend evaluations at NSD on April 10 and 17th.  The player must evaluate in the top 25% to be moved up.

** Majors to Juniors: The player must attend evaluations at NSD on April 10 and 17th.  The player must evaluate in the top 25% to be moved up.  
 
Please note:  The coordinators try to accommodate requests to play with friends, etc. but at the higher levels (re: Minors, Majors and Juniors) there are try-outs so the try-out results take precedence over the ‘play with friends’ requests.  Also, any special scheduling requirements (T-Ball and Coach Pitch only) can ONLY be accommodated if they are specified at registration time.
